Chapter 1: A Valentine

Episode 1: Tears
"Dont die please! dont die!"
"Dont worry Hua we will see each other again in heaven"
"Dont talk like that! you will live"
"Promise me Hua that you will be the king of our Kingdom, a King of Qi who has a golden heart and a King of Qi who will bring peace to everyone..... where every one has no more tears to carry and all the people will have the smile on their face!"
"You will live Ling Ling you will live!"
"Listen to me Hua, make a promise to me"
"I promise, Ling? Ling.... Ling ling! hu hu hu hu Ling! dont die.. I love you!.... I love you!"

Why the world is like that? Why when you love someone so much, the God take it away to you? I am Hua Wuque and this is my story, my love story.

I remember that day when the sky was calm and the sun smile at me. It was february 2010 and I am 1st year college. Professor Le Gutian was one of my favorite professor and I want to be an archeologist like him. I am close to all of my classmate but not in Ling ling because she is weird.

When our Professor is discussing about history of china especially in Qin Dynasty you will always see in her face the tears falling in her eyes. When our professor ask her if there is something wrong, she will not reply and she will look at the ground then our professor will scratch his head and all of my classmate will laugh.

After the class I went my way to my House. Ling ling lives near to me but I dont know many things about her even if our house are few steps in each other. When i am walking in my way I meet her , she smile at me but I act that I dont see her then someone kicks me at my back.

It is karlo and his gang who always bully me and get money to me by force when we meet.
"I dont have money. Sorry!"
"when we last meet you dont give us money. Hmmmmm! did you want us to punish you!"
"Sorry I dont have money!"

Karlo get his knife to his pocket and in that moment I feel that this is my end. And when he will stab me I was amazed that Ling Ling was like a lightning that enter the scene. She kicks the hand of Karlo that have the knife.

Then she punch him to his abdomen and kicks him to his head. Karlo fall in a distance and he hits the his gangmates. blood starts to flow in karlos head and all of them run.

"Wow you are so great, so strong. Wow! even if you are a girl, thank you very much!"
She just smile at me and continue her way to her home

Episode 2: A Date

Its February 12 now and all of my friends have a date and I am the only one who have none. They tease me that I am a gay and what I just do is to not react about that because its not true. I look in the sky and it is not the same of what i want to see, the clouds are dark and it conquers the shine of the king sun.

The bell rings so I need to go inside the classroom. As I enter in the door of the classroom I saw Ling ling and there is an undescridable feeling touch my soul. He look at me But her face has no expression where I can see happiness, loneliness, anger, fear or any kind of feeling. The class starts and the topic is about Qin dynasty again but it focus on the science and technology in the kindom.

I dont know why I do that but all I do in the class is just looking in the face of Ling ling and I noticed that she is beatiful. She has a white skin, a long hair, pretty red lipsa and a nose with a perfect shape. In this day she become very active in the class and she is the one who only reciting in the class. She looks like she lives in the Qin Dynasty because she can explain and describe well about our lesson.


"She is my hero, she saves me from Karlo and his gang, she is intteligent, she is pretty, she is lovely and she is great but she is weird." All what comes in my mind in our 3 subjects is all about Ling ling and I become interested at her.
Its now time to go home.

"Hey guys why dont we gamble for a woman in valentines day for fun."
"He he he! what kind of gamble Feng?"
"Ha ha ha ha! Why dont we have a deal with the weird Ling ling?"
"Yuck Ling ling! I dont like her, she is a fool!"
" Thats why we will make a gamble in her. He he he... All of who wants to join will bet 10, 000. Who wants to join?"
"I will join."
"Ok! I will join too."
"How about you Hua? Will you join?"
" All of you want that bet. What can I do? Ok I will join."
"Ok guys! this is what will we bet. All of us will tell about Ling ling that we want to have a date with her. The one who will she accept for a date is the winner."
" What?"
"He he he! You know Hua a true man play the heart of a girl. The more girl you date even if she is ugly or beautiful is the more you become MACHO!"
"Are you a gay Hua?"
"Of course not Jack! Im a man"
"So prove it! Is that the deal"
"Ok!"
"Sure!'
"Deal!".

Feng, Jack and Lian are my friends but I cannot refuse in that gamble because of my ego of being a man. I dont want to play the heart of Ling ling because she saves my life. But I wish Ling ling will not be hurt because of this. Tomorrow is one of the worst day in my life because Ling ling become important to me ang in the morning the gamble will be done.

Episode 3: The gamble

I dont like this feeling. I feel that my conscience was stabbing my heart for what we gonna to do this morning at Ling ling. Its already 3:00 am but I cant sleep and what plays in my mind is the beauty of Ling ling. I ask myself if she is important to me but because I become confuse for what undescridable feeling I suffer I go outside my room and go to the roof top of our house.

I saw 6 shooting star falling in the sky and they are beautiful and I try to make a wish because my father tell me that if I wish in the shooting star, It will became true. "I wish in this valentines, may I found someone who will complete the missing part on me which I seek for a long time, and it is LOVE" The sun conquer the sky and it is already morning. I went to school and what is running in my mind is all about the gamble.

I saw Ling ling and I found her sitting in the chair near our classroom and Feng, Jack and Lian where there pleasing her for a date. What I just do is sit in the chair near them and open a book from my bag pretending that I am reading but the truth is I want to hear which one of them will she choose. I dont want to participate in the gamble but i will just pay in the winner bcause I dont want to hurt Ling ling.

None of them was chosen by Ling ling and they all of them become a lonely creature and have a feeling that they are ugly.
"That weird girl is so fool! Is she a blind. Can she determine handsome like us from ugly?"
"Calm down Feng! calm down! Ei Hua why dont you join us pleasing Ling ling?"
"I dont want to be like the 3 of you. I have my own style"
"Nice! Hua, you are learning from us now hehehe"

The truth I have no plan and intention to have date with Ling ling. I just say that so they will not say anything about me because I dont want to hear unpleasant words. When its lunch break time I sit in the chair and start eating. I saw Ling ling in the canteen and she was looking to others who it and both of her hands are place in her stomach. Ling ling was hungry and I got pity with her so what I do is I buy delicios foods in the canteen and I go near to her and sits beside her.

"Hello my hero hehehehe"
"Hi"
"Can you please let me pay you for the good deed you done to me"
"You dont need to pay for that."
"Ling ling, please accept this food. I buy this for you. Thank you very much again"
"Ok! thanks for food too."
"Your welcome"
Ling ling eats the food that I bought for her and when I am sitting near to her my heart beat fast. I dont know what is the meaning of that but that is very good in my feeling.
"Can we become friends Hua?"
"Of course! why not?"
"Thanks, your the first one who become my friends here."
"Don worry! You become good to me so I will ensure you that I will be your friend till the end!"
"Promise?"
"Yes, Promise?"
"Hello Ling ling. Will you accept now to become my date in valentines?"
"Sorry Lian but Hua is now my date! right Hua?"
"Ah ah a......... Ye..ye.. I mean Yes!"
"Ah... ok! nice Hua congratz!"
"Bye Lian"
"Ei! Ling ling why you do that?"
"Sorry Hua but I dont want to have a date to them"
"So we will have date?"
"Of course not Hua! but if you want I will be the one who will pay for food. I just forgot my money in my house so I cant buy a lunch now."
"Its ok! Its my pay for you!"
"We are friends right now! did I am right?"
"Yes!"
"So why dont we have some fun and have some bonding."
"Ok!"
"Bye friend I will now go to my next subject. Thanks for the food. See you at 7pm in Chan restaurant tomorrow."
"Ok! bye Ling ling"

I dont want and I dont have interest in the bet but I was accidentally win in the gamble. Because Ling ling is my friend now I must come to Chan restaurant. I dont know if Im right but I hope Im wrong because what comes in my mind is if Ling ling is the girl who was my fate.

Episode 4: I dont know what is love

It is now Sunday and i will meet Ling ling in Chan restaurant. I don't know what happened to me that day but something changed in me. It was just 8 am and I feel very excited about the date.
"Kring kring kring"
"Hello Hua"
"Ei! Good morning Feng"
"Congratz Hua you win the bet, Lian tell us that you and Ling ling has a date now"
"He he he its just a luck"
" We will go at your house now hehe to give you your prize that is 30,000"
"Ok! ok! ok! thanks"
Now I have lot of money for our date because of that bet. They come at exact 10 am at my house and I saw a great disapointment in their eyes. But after a few moment I saw smile in their face.

" Ei Hua try to score at her this night"
"All of you know me Im not that kind of person, I respect ladies"
"You respect girl because you are a gentle man or because you are also a lady."
"Lian stop! Hua is a true man and we prove it many times"
"Cool man! cool.. Im just joking Jack. Sorry Hua .... Peace be with you hehehe "
"We are friends here guys, I treat the 3 of you well so please treat me well too guys"
"Pardon Hua. Im sorry. Dont worry I will not do that again. Promise!"
"Thanks"
"By the way this is the money Hua"
"Congratz again Hua"
"Thanks guys"
"Do you want to come with us? We will go to play bowling and I think you can go with us because your date was in the evening."
"Thanks Jack but I will make my homework and will study my lesson"
"Ok! ....... bye bye"
"Bye Hua!"
"Bye bye see you again"
"Bye guys"
I really dont want to come with them because what will they do is to play the heart of the girls in the place where they will play bowling. I respect girls and that is one of my nature. I just pretend that Im doing homework and project because I dont want to join them. Hours has passed and it is already 6:45pm and I am already in Chan restaurant. I only wear a maong pants and a red t-shirt with a nice design. I sit in the chair and wait for Ling ling. When she come in the restaurant I was amazed because hertrue beauty was released and she was very beautiful in her blue gown. She sits beside me and we order a food.

"You know Ling ling your so beautiful this night"
"Thanks Hua"
"Can I ask you something?"
"what is that Hua?"
"Why you cry when we discuss about history in china especially in qin dynasty."
"Oh!... nothing I just touch in their story"
"Ah .... ok Ling ling"
"You know I love the beauty of nature in the warring state period but what I dont want is the chaos that conquers the heart of many people"
"Wow! hehehe your words are so deep look likes you come from that time Ling ling. Ahm... Ling ling ahm.. please dont be angry I have one thing to confess to you"
"What is that?"
"The truth is me and my friends have a bet to you but I dont really want to join in that bet but they forced me. The winner in that gamble will received 30,000 and because you just invite me for a date I accidentally win that gamble"
"Oh!... what? hmmm dont worry I will not be angry at you... we are friends and I know your a good person Hua"
"Thanks Ling ling... thank you very much. Ahm... uhm... lets talk about prosperity in china in this time"
"Hehehe you know prosperity in this time is not a poison to every one but the invention of dangerous weapons and chemicals that destroy our nature."
"You are right with that, If only gun is not discovered, there will be no nuclear bombs now hehe and kung fu will reign in the world"
"Do you know some Kung fu style Hua?"
"I dont know anything about fighting and that is why many trying to bully at me... Ahm wait how do you learn Kung fu?"
"Since Im a child I know Kung fu"
"Wow! and because of your talent in Kung fu you save my life Ling ling.... thanks again"
"Hehehe your welcome.. Hua do you have a girlfriend before?"
"No."
"why?"
"Because since Im young I dont know what is love... but until now Im seeking for it."
"Uhm... I hope someday you find it"
"Thanks..... I wish it come true"
"Dont worry Hua, God is always there to guide are paths"
"How about you? Do you have a boy friend before"
"Hehehe we are the same but I know how to love. hehehe
After a long conservation in the restaurant we also watch a movie. That night was the start where me and Ling ling become close to each other. After that night, everyday we go to school together, eat at the canteen together, study at the library together and went to home together. It continues for 4 weeks. One day we walk in our way to home then the rain starts to fall and we have no umbrella. Im taller than Ling ling so I hug her while we walk so small amount of rain will fall to her body. Raindrops fall in our face and while im hugging her I feel the warm of her body and my heart beat faster.
" I have one thing to confessed you Hua"
"What is that Ling ling"
"I love you!"
Then she kissed me in my lips while the raindrops continue to fall in our face. The heat in our body join together and it is like that our heart unites for one feeling and that is the LOVE, the LOVE that I don't know before.

Episode 5: Goodbye(Last episode in chapter 1)

What is this? Is this love? Her lips touch mine and I feel a feeling that I don't feel before. I feel the joy of love. " I love you too!" that is my reply to her in that time, the time where our hearts unite and the time I found the meaning of my life.

The night has come and I cant sleep. I pick my cellphone in my pocket and I call her.
"Hello Ling ling"
"Hello Hua.."
"Uhm... hi again"
"Ahm.. Hua so we are now.....?"
"Yes Ling ling... I love you! can you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes! Hua... I love you very much! Uhm.. hua can I ask you something?"
"What is that?"
"Can you call me Honey.... and I call you Love?"
"Ahmm... of course! ... Honey"
" Hehe I love you Love!"

Days has passed and weeks passed. Our relationship become very strong with full of love, joy and happiness. I am like an iron and she is my magnet and we become hard to separate. I start to know Ling ling better and I discover that she is good at cooking, have a lovely voice in singing and very understanding to me. My wish in 6 shooting star come true and now I have Ling ling, the first girl I have love and the last girl in my life. One day she become lonely for the whole day. I ask her if there is something wrong but all she do is she hug me and kissed me in my cheeks. "None! .. there is nothing wrong Love!" Days have passed and she become very lonely she also vomit. What comes in her mind is if she is pregnant because she vomit many times but there is nothing happened in us. I don't want to think this but the only reason comes in my mind of why she is lonely is she is pregnant and the father of the child is other man. I try to calm myself and I go to her house to know what is going on and when she open the door for me she immediately hug me.

"Hua my love! Goodbye.. goodbye Love! good..bye!"
"What is this? Good bye? ..do yo have another boy? so you are saying goodbye? Are you pregnant... please explain"
"I have something to confess you... that sometimes I dont want to be happen... but this is my fate. Please listen to what I say and please believe me"
"What is that?"
"Im from the other world Hua, Im from the time of warring state period in 249 BC!"
"Are you crazy? Are you fool!"
"I love you Hua this is now the time! Goodbye!... I have no time remaining so I cant explain well... but I hope someday you will understand but just always remember that you will always remain in my heart!"
Then suddenly a door appear at her back. It shines like a fire and Ling ling enter while looking at me and waving her hands.
"Honey Wha......wha.... whats that? wait! wait!... Ling ling!.. Oh! what happens! I cant understand whats happening!"

I punch myself to figure out if this is true but I feel the pain. I cant understand everything. The door disappear together with Ling ling and I am shock for what happen. Then suddenly I remember the days when she cry about our lesson in the fall of qin dynasty, how she describe the warring state period in qi kingdom and how great she love the nature in that period.

I figured out that whats happening is true. Ling ling now has gone and now my mind become clear for why Ling ling has no picture of her parents and she even not talk about them and why she is alone in her house. But is this a magic for how Ling ling come to this time? I have many question in my mind that only Ling ling can answer but she is gone and my life is not the same before.

I become lonely after that day and many person asking for Ling ling but my only reply is that she go to other country because of her family problem and she will not come back again. I think I cannot fing again a girl that is the same as Ling ling because she is unique and until my last breath I will love her.

I just focus to my study to forget her but her memories mark in my heart. Thanks to Professor Le gutian that because of him I start to enjoy my studies and my loneliness starts to fade. Me and Professor Le Gutian become close friends even if he is my Prof. and Im his student. One day Mr. Le gutian told me about he and his friends invention and that is a time machine.

I was very amazed with that and he say that it works and the reason what it is made is to recover the science of passed kingdom in China in the burning of books long time ago. They also need a people who is brave, know all the details of that period of history and also intelligent. When professor Le gutian told this to me I remember Ling ling and I told to my Professor that I want to volunteer to recover the science of the passed kingdom but my true reason is I want to see Ling ling again.

At first, my professor dont want me to become the volunteer because I am very close to him and that is dangerous but because I have all the traits of the person they need and I beg him many times for this, he grant my request. The night before the day where I will be warp at warring state period by the use of time machine, I remember the valentines day where me and Ling ling have a date, where I start to become close to Ling ling and when I saw her real beauty. The valentines become the beginning of my love story but this shall continue and this will not end because my love for Ling ling is until eternity.
