Pinoy Starcraft v2 will be the premier Starcraft and Starcraft 2 community of the Philippines and we'll be working together with Mineski in bringing you quality Starcraft related updates and sponsored events :)

More into this later after PinoyStarcraft's official web designer, Orvin Reyes and I are done with the finishing touches for the site.

Tad bit ashamed to tell you this but i had to take all sites hosted on this server down to tweak some of the settings -- which lasted a couple of hours -- and i forgot to put a dummy 'be right back' page while i was doing my thing :p

This bootcamp is designed for web developers who want to learn Ruby on Rails.

The bootcamp will be conducted by several speakers covering the different aspects of web application development using Ruby on Rails. The bootcamp targets 25 participants and 5 speakers.

Requirements:

• Participants are required to bring their own laptops.
• Not required to have prior knowledge of Ruby on Rails

Speakers
Greg Moreno is a freelance programmer based in Canada. He’s known for his leadership qualities and strong but often correct opinions on programming best practices.

Radamanthus Batnag is a real technologist. He has worked for six years as a programmer and database administrator at Devex.com and currently works for Exist.

Maricris Nonato is a Scrum master and a senior developer at Devex.com.

Buddy Magsipoc is the lead Rails developer of Crown Agents Philippines. Since joining Crown Agents, he has led its adoption of BDD alongside a massive refactoring of its spaghetti legacy code.

Nico Suria is a senior developer at Devex.com. Recently he has worked on DevexConnect, a web application built by integrating several Rails and PHP applications tied together by magic, prayers and some Javascript.

Eumir Gaspar is a web developer at Devex.com. He has been advocating the massive adoption of HTML5 because he sees it as a way to finally what he’s really after: the death of IE6.

George Mendoza has worked as a programmer since 2002. He worked in Singapore but ironically found more success working at home (Baguio City) as an independent contractor/ freelance Ruby programmer.
